Hey Tomas – I’ll kick off your comments. I didn’t even know you had something up and running. Looks good so far. No worries, I haven’t forgotten the geology report, just probably won’t get to it before I’m down there.
Once we are settled in somewhere I hope I’ll have plenty of time to do so. Hey can I apply for the park ranger job? Bilingual though I don’t know; does “no se” count? Perhaps next year after I become so proficient on this trip. By the way, if I do get a chance to head up there with the family I thought I’d just rent a car, but do I need to deal with the caribineros at all, like when we stopped at that outpost and you told them we were going in? I’ll discuss further details later. I see you’ve hit my blog. Will try to keep up on the posting there more when I’m actually down there. Saludos – John
Tomas,
Just stumbled upon your site, and now have some interesting reading while I have internet down here in “The Other Chile.” I enjoy your writing, and your links and resources are mostly all new to me. Thanks.
Thanks Vicki. What are you doing down in Futaleufu? Running rivers? From what I hear there is quite a community of foreigners in that area. It must be beautiful right now.
